The Ramsbottom Labour candidate, Clare Cummins, has been campaigning in the ward for the upcoming local elections. whilst meeting with residents of Ramsbottom, it was clear that people are becoming tired of government cuts and the overpowering Brexit debates which are preventing normal business in parliament, additionally Clare and the team where discussing the new GMSF plans which protects the ward’s Greenbelt for generations to come. Clare, who lives with her family in “Rammy” has made use of the Green areas locally for different projects that she has worked on, including two ‘Ramsbottom Great Get Together’ events and the ‘Bugs and Bees’ toddler group in Nuttall Park.

Clare Cummins has recently been working with Councillor Kevin Thomas to empower the Peel Brow estate by setting up a Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) which will allow the community to thrive and have more involvement with the areas future.
