Ayesha Hazarka, A Scottish comedian, political commentator and former senior advisor to Labour Leaders, took time away from her usual work, such as starring in the Edinburgh Comedy Fringe Festival to put on a show at The Doghouse in Ramsbottom for a Bury North fundraiser. A comedy routine based around Brexit, culture, family, feminism and the government. Bury North members enjoyed an afternoon of comedy, poetry and music at the Doghouse for another successful fundraising event. The woman who makes it all possible is BN’s Fundraising Officer, Christine Roberts. James Frith MP was listening carefully to Ayesha’s views on Brexit and by the end of show, lots of money was raised for Bury North’s fight fund.
