Lucy is the daughter of our Bury North CLP Secretary and formerly a councillor, Mayor & deputy leader of Bury Labour Group – John Smith and current councillor for East Ward and former Mayor – Stella Smith. She was destined to be a politician having been brought up in a strong Labour family and will be a great addition to Bury Council.

Bury North Councillors and members flocked to neighbouring Bury South to campaign before the big day, We had a good “Northern” representation on polling day and even had our Labour-mobile circling the ward.
