Stop the closure of our walk in centres - an update

We are pleased that Bury CCG has now committed to holding a full and proper consultation process on any proposals to close Walk In Centre Provision, following the moving of the emergency motion by the Labour Group at last week's full Council meeting.

Currently they are undertaking an 'engagement' process which does not have the same legal force or place the same weight upon the views of the public.

The engagement process finishes at the end of October with proposals to be firmed up in December.

This will be followed by a consultation process with the public IF they decide to progress with the closure of the services.

Let's keep working to stop it getting that far. SIGN THE PETITION HERE
