James Frith supports WASPI campaign

Women born in the 1950's were told in 2014 that they would need to work for up to 6 years longer before being allowed to retire. This was wrong then and remains wrong now. I'm supporting the WASPI campaign

There are at least 3600 women in Bury affected by this pernicious and ignorant measure by the Tories.

Pensioners and Women are bearing the brunt of the Tories punishing plans in this election. The loss of the Triple lock on Pensions, privatising Social Care with the Dementia Tax, scrapping the Winter Fuel Allowance and their grievance with #WASPI women continues. All voted for by Bury's Tory MP.
