Improving Hoyles Park

Pictured left to right are Moorside Ward Councillors Sarah Southworth, Sandra Walmsley and Dot Cassidy alongside Moorside activist Annette Mckay. The Councillors have worked hard to secure funding for the full refurbishment of the children's play area within Hoyles Park in the Chesham Fold area.

Cllr Dot Cassidy said: "The play area in Hoyles park had fallen into disrepair and some of the swings had been vandalised. Many young families use the park and residents had complained about the health and safety risks. We are really pleased that we've been able to secure the funding to ensure its full refurbishment so the local community can enjoy the park with their children."
